Dr Elfrieda Turkson

Dr Elfrieda Turkson completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by her internship and community service at Far East Rand Hospital. She went on to specialize in pathology, completing her postgraduate training in the Department of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of the Witwatersrand. During this time, she also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene and a Master of Medicine (MMed) in Microbiology.
