Dr Jeanette van der Merwe

Dr. Jeanette vd Merwe qualified as histopathologist with postgraduate training from the University of the Free State. Following several years in the academic set-up at NHLS, she joined Ampath in 2010 and currently practices in Bloemfontein as a senior consultant. With many years of experience in most aspects of histopathology, her diagnostic expertise spans genito-urinary pathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology and cytology. She is experienced in digital pathology and also has a continued passion for teaching with occasional involvement with registrar development at the NHLS.

Dr. van der Merwe places great importance on building strong relationshipsand trust with clients through regular communication.
