Dr Motumi Nteta
Dr Motumi Euna Nteta ,undertook her undergraduate training at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in 2008. Upon qualifying, she worked as an intern at Klerksdorp/ Tshepong hospital for 2 years. She went on to work in Ekurhuleni municipal district doing her community service and became a medical officer for 3 years at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital.
Dr Nteta joined the University of the Free state to start her registrar training at the National Health Laboratory Service Department of Medical Microbiology . She completed her MMed project on Nosocomial infection in Multidisciplinary ICU at Universitas Academic hospital .
Dr Nteta qualified as a Microbiologist in 2020 through College of Medicine and joined the Ampath team since November 2022. She enjoys all aspects of microbiology but has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of carbapenem resistant Enterobacterales.
