Dr Shenaz Asmal

I am a Haematopathologist based at the Westridge Campus in Durban. I obtained my Fellowship in Haematology (FC Path Haematology) through the College of Medicine of South Africa in 2005.

From 2005 to 2007, I served as a Consultant at the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), after which I joined Ampath Laboratories (formerly Bouwer and Partners) in 2007.

I am currently involved in the Rippledown Project at Ampath, with professional interests that include Patient Blood Management and clinical decision support in laboratory medicine.
