Dr Sheylyn Pillay

Dr Pillay completed his MBChB at UKZN in 2013 and worked as a clinician managing drug resistant tuberculosis and complex HIV cases, at Estcourt Provincial Hospital  (CSO, 2016) and CAPRISA (Research Clinician, 2017- InDEX Study). He acquired the Diploma in HIV management during this time. He completed his FCPath and MMed in Medical Microbiology in 2023 at Stellenbosch University where he also lectured annually for their unique Diploma in infection control.
