Dr Tina Law

Prior to working at Ampath, Dr Law worked for 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Advisor for various antimicrobial agents. She completed her specialisation as a clinical microbiologist at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2017. Dr Law is currently working as a senior consultant microbiologist in the Microbiology Department at Ampath Laboratory, based in Johannesburg. She is passionate about educating fellow medical professionals about the global threat of antimicrobial resistance and the need for antimicrobial stewardship. Away from the office, she is an avid runner and scuba diver and adores spending time with her dogs.

Professional degrees held are: MBChB, DTM&H, FC Path SA (Micro) and MMed (Micro).
