Viral Meningitis Multiplex PCR (VMPCR)

A Viral Meningitis Multiplex PCR Test is a fast and accurate way to check for many of the most common viruses that cause inflammation of the brain and spinal cord lining (meningitis). The test is performed on a sample of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which is taken from the patient's spine.
